Clutter. Noun. A collection of things lying about in an untidy mass. -Oxford Dictionaries
Does this describe a space, or multiple spaces, in your life? You’re not alone, the average American spends one year of their life looking for lost or misplaced items at home and in the office. Additionally, 40% of your housework (and officework) is spent tidying up clutter. I’m here to help you claim your time—your life—back. A few hours spent with a professional organizer can save you countless hours in the months and years to come.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the average U.S. executive wastes six weeks per year retrieving misplaced information from messy desks and files. An executive of your household or an executive with a company, the same dilemma ensues. Receipts get misplaced, deadlines pass, important documents are buried and you’re at your wits end. A few hours with a professional organizer can get your space functioning. When your space functions so does your mind and body.
Downsizing. Sizing down. It’s a pretty simple notion: having less. As we have become overburdened with stuff in our lives the word downsizing has slowly crept into our everyday language. Some fear the word and the notion of having to downsize some area of their life. Allow Natural Organizing to walk alongside you as you make these changes. We will work together to determine what items are necessary in your life and what items simply don’t belong anymore. We will free up space for what is truly important in your life, maybe it’s new stuff, maybe it’s peace of mind.
The filing cabinet was created in the mid 1800s, prior to that papers were filed (bundled and stacked) on shelves and in both drawers and boxes. It revolutionized paper storage and retrievability. Why then are so many people reluctant today to put their papers inside a file cabinet? There seems to be a fear that once it is inserted into a file and that drawer is closed it will never be seen again. Or maybe the file cabinet is already full, with more papers stacked in front and on top with no home.
